About Coon’s

Coon’s Franklin Lodge is located about four hours north of Milwaukee, five hours north of Chicago and four hours northeast of Minneapolis. We’re ideally located for a weekend getaway, family trip or corporate retreat.

Each of our twenty-eight cabins are spread along the shoreline, each uniquely decorated and outfitted with screened-in porches and fireplaces. Firewood and ice are also delivered daily to your cabin.

The Main Lodge is a beautiful spot for guests to gather or cozy up with a book. Two great rooms are centered around large stone fireplaces. There is also a large, screened-in porch overlooking Trout Lake, and a well-equipped game room. The lodge offers complimentary wireless internet.

Our dining room is a rustic yet elegant gathering space. As an American Plan Lodge, three meals are served daily, and included in the lodge rate. Start your day with an assortment of breakfast foods, enjoy a quick or leisurely lunch, and return in the evening to enjoy the chef’s delicious dinner entrees.
